The Colorado Association of Middle Level Education (CAMLE) has recognized Corwin International Magnet School as a 2023 Colorado Trailblazer Schools to Watch! Corwin International is one of three schools in Colorado and one of 100+ schools that will be recognized nationwide at the National Schools to Watch Conference on June 23, 2023 in Washington, DC. This is the fourth consecutive time Corwin International has received this award, going back to 2013.
There are 37 criteria that a school must meet or exceed in order to be recognized as a school to watch. A team of middle level educators conducted classroom observations, interviewed administrators, teachers and parents. Included in the review is a comprehensive review of achievement data, suspension rates, instructional quality, and student work. The evaluation team noted: “Corwin International Magnet School ignites student learning through intentional academic opportunities for all students, relentless relationship building, and innovative elective opportunities. Corwin International’s faculty and administrative team continuously strive to innovate and elevate learning, to reach and teach every child!”
