The Board of Education is asked to proclaim October 20-26, 2024 as Gifted and Talented Education Week.
State of Colorado Gifted and Talented Education Week October 20-26, 2024
WHEREAS, Colorado is home to over 800,000 students, many of whom excel in one or more areas of their studies; and
WHEREAS, the State of Colorado encourages and promotes high standards for academic achievement; and
WHEREAS, providing a challenging experience in the classroom for Colorado's gifted and talented students is vital to ensuring their continued intellectual, social, and academic development; and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented is committed to ensuring that teachers, administrators, and parents understand and meet the unique needs of Colorado's best and brightest students;
THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we, the Pueblo School District No. 60 Board of Education, does proclaim October 20-26, 2024 as Gifted and Talented Education Week. |
